About
A collaboration with poet Sasa E for their spoken word performance at WHOLE festival. “Who cares for the carer?” is a piece about loss, greif, care and solidarity. It was an honour to have been able to contribute to this project through my love for animation. A 30-second animated loop that represented the emotional journey that Sasa E’s performance takes us on. I am forever grateful for Sasa E’s confidence in my creative expression and my skill as an animator.
The Initial idea was to work with lines and scribbles and we were quite happy with the first few shots created.
The second draft focussed more on the colors and typographic explorations.
