SHUSH Dance

The organizers of Berlin alt-culture’s famous SHUSH dance first reached out to me for a flyer for their first collaborative party with Homemade hot-sauce brand HOT CHITAS. As a part of Berlin’s underground scene, SHUSH usually never keeps one visual identity for long and likes to change things up for every party they do. I specifically loved the notion of the event being promoted in a way that it only ever reaches the eyes and ears of someone who knows someone, perhaps why the party is called SHUSH. The event called for ambiguity yet the use of memorable and interesting motifs. I had the honour of designing the flyer for SHUSH at two different occaisions, both of which can be seen here.
Flyer Design #1
The first flyer design which was a collaboration with a hot-sauce brand by the name of Hot Chitas was created keeping the intention of communicating spiciness to the flyer.
Flyer Design #2
The second flyer design, i confess, came to me in a time when I was a bit too obsessed with using Halftone textures in my work. And what I love about the SHUSH crew is the complete creative freedom that they gave to me in the process. The abstractions in the flyer are intended to inspire curiosity (a door ajar, and cosmic volumes around it). Concept sketches and wireframes
